X-ray tube Mini-X2

The Mini-X2 is a miniature X-ray tube system that includes the X-ray tube, power supply, control electronics, and USB communications to the computer. It is optimized for compact X-ray fluorescence (XRF) applications. The Mini-X2 has been designed to simplify the XRF process by providing a grounded anode, USB current and voltage control, a collimator mount simple in 50 kV models and ease of operation.

 

The Mini-X2 consists of two components: el X-ray tube module Mini-X2 and the Mini-X2 controller . El X-ray tube module includes tube and high voltage power supply. 
Several different options are available:

El  controller  includes USB communications and software control. Can be configured, via software, to support any of the tube modules X-ray. A 10-pin pigtail connects the controller and the X-ray tube module. Connections to the controller are 12V DC power, USB for command and control, and an AUX connector with a safety interlock and a controller for a warning light.

 

 The Mini-X2 is a replacement for Amptek's previous Mini-X family of products. X-ray tube module is similar to the Mini-X-OEM previous. 

 

The controller has significantly improved control features, including software configurability and faster reading and control. Uses a completely different software interface, based on the FW6 protocol used with the processors Amptek digital pulse generator.

 

Convenient leads for attaching collimators or filters are available on all 50kV models.
