Mobius system

ORTEC's Möbius Recycler technology provides "proven" liquid nitrogen cooling for your radiation detector in a system where the LN2 requires refilling approximately once every two years under normal continuous operating conditions. This is achieved through the integration of the Sunpower® cryocooler and a specially designed 27 liter liquid nitrogen dewar. A "smart" cooler controller detects when the Möbius is running on an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and automatically shuts down the cryocooler to minimize energy consumption. This function allows to prolong the operation of the system when using UPS systems of lower capacity. Predictive "time to empty" LN2 level monitor provides status regardless of loss of utility power. While your lab may be in the dark, you won't be when it comes to knowing the "dump time" of the LN2 dewar. Mobius is available in a top-loading configuration for vertical and horizontal cryostats and with a side or J-type cryostat.
