EXP-2 Complete XRF Experimenter Kit

Amptek's EXP-2 Complete Experimenter Kit is a package designed to help a user quickly get started performing elemental analysis via X-ray fluorescence (XRF). Includes supplied hardware and software by Amptek. Once this kit is assembled and the software is configured and calibrated, simple tests can begin. This kit is for general use, so which is not designed for a particular application, but can be the starting point for a custom system.

 

The Experimenter's Kit combines three separate standard Amptek products and a single mechanical accessory. Standard components are (1) X-123 FAST SDD spectrometer (including detector and DP5 digital signal processor) , (2) the Mini-X2 10-watt X-ray tube (includes a collimator with a place to mount filters), (3) the XRS-FP2 X-ray analysis software, and (4) the EXP-FP2 mechanical accessory. 2 that provides radiation protection, safety interlocks, and a sample chamber.
