PAR single channel amplifiers are external and scale current, compliance voltage of a line of compatible potentiostats

 

 

  • High current amplifiers up to 20 A for battery, fuel cell or electroplating applications
  • Compliance voltage steps up to 50V, bias voltage is determined by potentiostat
  • Power Boosters can be purchased with the potentiostat or added later as an upgrade
  • VersaStudio software handles all associated scale factors

 

Applications and Software

 

The PAR multi-channel power amplifier is controlled via VersaStudio software for coordinated experiments with accompanying VersaSTAT and PARSTAT single-channel potentiostats.



Key applications that benefit from higher current are:

 

  • Increased charge and discharge rates for energy conversion and storage devices such as lithium-ion batteries and capacitors.
  • Increased AC signal level to improve EIS results in large form factor, low impedance cells.
  • Kinetics or electroplating studies in increased sample sizes or at increased sampling rates.
